This incredible organization seeks to prevent suicide by musicians who suffer from depression and/or other such disorders. They provide obstacle free treatment for musicians, and assist in their emotional, physical and professional well-being. A long standing, well-respected resource in the Athens music scene, it is a valuable organization to keep up and going.
I think it's really inspiring and I commend everyone involved (festival organizers, pr, the artists, Nuci's space, sponsors, etc) for putting something like this together. What a great sense of community! Sounds great, right? The best part is, you can take part in all this too! Help contribute and do something good, while at the same time having a ball and go to Mule Fest 2009.
